The Cross Street Project is more than just the redesign of an existing ground floor Bronte apartment, it is also a collaboration between C+M Studio, who undertook the design, and project management, with a number of local retailers, designers, and artists, to create a beautiful, beachside home that is both livable, and shopable.

On this project C+M Studio undertook the refurbishment, and furnishing of an existing 1930 Art Deco apartment in one of the leafy green streets set back from Bondi Beach. The design included the renewal of the bathroom, dining, bedroom, and study spaces, to create a relaxed light filled apartment, with a rich aesthetic informed by the heritage detailing.

The project saw the redesign of an outdated rabbit warren early 90's apartment, in to a chic coastal residence focusing on warm natural materials. The apartment, owned by a recently retired couple, was designed to create inviting open plan living spaces, juxtaposed with tranquil private spaces hidden behind doors set in to the curved timber feature wall.

This project was a redesign of an coastal pied-a-terre set in a classic 1930's Art Deco apartment building. An investment development, the design looked to increase the value of the building by capitalizing on the Bondi Beach setting, with a design to fit the market.  A simple livable layout, with a very current designer focused fit out, saw a great investment return for the client.
